Hi!  I have lived in Gratiot County, located in central Michigan, all my life.  I grew up on a family farm, building a love for country and nature.  As I exited high school I became self-employed with the farming operation.  A few years later I sought out a guaranteed paycheck at a die set manufacturing facility.  I really loved the type of work I was performing, learning and advancing for 15 years. With the onset of economic hardships, many employees lost their jobs.  I took this opportunity to continue my education and pursue my passion in the teaching field. My college experience has been wonderful and my elementary classroom placements have been out of this world! 

   During my studies at Alma College, my wife and I decided it was time to have two beautiful children.  I have showcased them on the family photo album page!  I thank God for an awesome wife and very supportive family.  Without them my education, this dream, would not have been possible!
